New York Jets running back Isaiah Crowell was taken to the locker room and evaluated for a head injury during Friday's preseason opener versus the Atlanta Falcons, the team announced.
Crowell scored the first touchdown of the game on a 16-yard reception from Teddy Bridgewater but didn't last much longer before getting hurt.
The 25-year-old signed a three-year contract with New York in March after four seasons with the Cleveland Browns. He and Bilal Powell are expected to handle most of the tailback duties for the Jets in 2018,
