Report: Saints signing Gillislee to 1-year deal

The New Orleans Saints are signing running back Mike Gillislee to a one-year deal, a source informed NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Sunday.
Gillislee was one of the more notable casualties of roster cutdown day Saturday when he received his walking papers from the New England Patriots.
He should act as depth for the Saints with Mark Ingram suspended for the first four games of the regular season.
Gillislee is entering his sixth season and will suit up for his fourth team. He was signed by the Patriots last year after registering a career-best 577 rushing yards and nine total touchdowns for the Buffalo Bills in 2016. He appeared in nine games for the Pats, totaling 383 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
