The Kansas City Chiefs' offense is going to be dangerous in 2018.

Kicking off the campaign in style, Patrick Mahomes dominated the Los Angeles Chargers en route to a 38-28 victory. The strong-armed passer completed 15 of 27 attempts for 256 yards and four touchdowns against the NFL's No. 3-ranked pass defense from 2017.

Mahomes' stat line was impressive, but he passed the eye test as well, delivering a number of jaw-dropping throws. It's safe to say the second-year pro has lived up to the hype thus far.

Here are a few of his best plays against the Chargers on Sunday:

Mahomes' first touchdown of the afternoon was a 58-yarder to Tyreek Hill. The speedy wideout did most of the work, but the young pivot launched a rocket in stride.

The Chiefs quarterback was also effective under pressure. Here he delivers a strike to Hill with a defender diving at his legs.

Mahomes offers more than just a strong arm. In the third quarter, he tosses a pinpoint 36-yard touchdown pass to fullback Anthony Sherman, who got loose on a wheel route.

The Hill-Mahomes connection could not be stopped Sunday. Here, the dynamic duo connect for another big gain, with the young quarterback showing off his ability to throw on the run.

Sammy Watkins makes an impressive catch on this play, but Mahomes zips the ball past two defenders, putting the ball where only his receiver could haul it in.
