Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is on track to play in Week 3 versus the Indianapolis Colts, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Wentz still needs to be cleared for contact and it's expected he'll receive the medical OK this week. It's been nine months since he tore his ACL and LCL in a late-season matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
Backup Nick Foles will receive his second straight start Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
