Report: Jaguars' Fournette won't return Week 6 vs. Cowboys
The Jacksonville Jaguars apparently won't be getting help from Leonard Fournette in Week 6 as they attempt to rejuvenate their offense, as sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that the star running back will remain sidelined by a hamstring injury against the Dallas Cowboys.
The sophomore has been limited to just two games this season and aggravated the injury after starting against the New York Jets in Week 4. He's rushed for just 71 yards and no touchdowns on 20 carries, adding four receptions for 19 yards.
Jacksonville fell to 3-2 with a 30-14 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. The team ranks 15th in rushing yards per game this season after leading the league in Fournette's rookie season.
T.J. Yeldon's taken on lead rushing duties when Fournette's been out of the lineup. He leads the Jaguars with a modest 258 yards on 59 carries, along with a single touchdown.
Meanwhile, running back Corey Grant's season reportedly came to an end Sunday, as he's set to undergo foot surgery and will be placed on injured reserve.
