Brown calls lawsuits filed against him 'false claims'
The pair of lawsuits filed against Antonio Brown contain false claims, the Pittsburgh Steelers star said in a statement Thursday.
Brown is accused of trashing an apartment and throwing furniture off a 14th-floor balcony of a complex in Florida in April, endangering a man and his 22-month-old grandson, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Brown is facing separate suits from the child's father and the apartment's landlord.
Antonio Brown on recent legal issues: “It has now been made public that two lawsuits containing false claims have been filed against me. The facts will soon come out that prove my innocence. My focus will remain on football and I will not let the cases serve as a distraction.”

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told Bouchette that the league is aware of and monitoring the lawsuits.
