It appears that Josh Gordon has finally found a perfect fit with the New England Patriots.

Gordon was acquired by the Patriots in a September trade and is quickly integrating himself into the offense, recording a 34-yard touchdown catch against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5.

Patriots veteran Julian Edelman raved about Gordon on Thursday, believing that the 27-year-old can continue to elevate the team's prolific offense.

"Dude works hard. Great teammate. I really think he can be a really big piece of us," Edelman said Thursday via ESPN's Mike Reiss.

"It's exciting to be around him. He loves football, you can tell. He knows his stuff. It's getting more and more fun the more he knows."

Edelman recently rejoined the Patriots after serving a four-game suspension, and with Gordon quickly rounding himself into form, the AFC juggernaut may be as dangerous as ever heading into the fall.
