Ryan Tannehill is already out for Sunday's Week 7 contest versus the Detroit Lions, and the Miami Dolphins quarterback is expected to miss his third straight game on Thursday against the Houston Texans due to a lingering right shoulder injury, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Tannehill's dealing with motion issues that are causing pain in the shoulder, and the Dolphins aren't sure when he'll return, Rapoport added.
Brock Osweiler started in relief of Tannehill last weekend, recording 380 passing yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions in a 31-28 overtime win over the Chicago Bears. The veteran passer will continue to get the nod with Tannehill sidelined.
