Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer believes cornerback Xavier Rhodes suffered a sprained ankle during Sunday's victory over the New York Jets, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Rhodes was helped off the field in the fourth quarter with what initially seemed to be a serious leg injury. Zimmer, however, doesn't think the issue is serious, adds Chad Graff of The Athletic.
The six-year veteran and No. 25 pick of the 2013 NFL Draft has played in all seven games this season and has one interception.
The Vikings will host the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.
