Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster seems to miss running back Le'Veon Bell.

After a local Pittsburgh reporter tweeted Tuesday night that he saw Smith-Schuster buying a significant amount of Mega Millions tickets, the sophomore told media members Wednesday that he'd actually bought over 100 in hopes of helping pay his teammate.

Bell remains away from the Steelers while refusing to sign the franchise tag for the 2018 season, a tender that would have once paid more than $14.5 million on a one-year pact.

Tuesday night's $1.537-billion Mega Millions jackpot will go to a single winning ticket holder in South Carolina.

Smith-Schuster carries a cap hit of $953,586 on the second year of his rookie contract.
