Report: Fournette expected to return in Week 10 after bye
The Jacksonville Jaguars are set for a huge boost following their bye week, as running back Leonard Fournette is expected to return in Week 10 after missing the majority of the season with a hamstring injury, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Fournette has appeared in just two games this season, carrying the ball 20 times for 71 yards. In his absence, the Jaguars have struggled to replicate their AFC South-winning form from last season, slipping to 3-4 ahead of their London game with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jacksonville recently traded for running back Carlos Hyde, with the move reportedly motivated by frustration from the team's coaching staff regarding Fournette's inability to stay healthy.
Hyde is set to make his Jaguars debut against the Eagles, and the Jaguars apparently envision using both him and Fournette moving forward.
