The Green Bay Packers have traded safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the Washington Redskins in exchange for a 2019 fourth-round pick.
Clinton-Dix was selected by Green Bay in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft and emerged as a standout defender. He was named to the Pro Bowl and earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2016.
The 25-year-old has recorded 27 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and three interceptions this season.
Clinton-Dix bid farewell to the Packers just before the trade was announced.
