Report: Saints to work out Dez Bryant
One of the NFL's top offenses is looking for a shock midseason upgrade.
The New Orleans Saints will bring in Dez Bryant for a workout Tuesday, sources told Jane Slater of NFL Network.
Colleague Ian Rapoport added that the Saints will also host Brandon Marshall and Kamar Aiken.
Bryant has been on the open market since his release from the Dallas Cowboys in April. He turned down a multi-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens a few weeks after being cut and has received minimal interest since.
If Bryant does sign with New Orleans, he arguably couldn't land in a better spot.
Saints head coach Sean Payton is one of the more creative play-callers in the league and the presence of Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara would mean less of a workload for Bryant.
After Thomas, the Saints have Tre'Quan Smith, Cameron Meredith, and Austin Carr at receiver.
