New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold has a "significant foot sprain" and won't play against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in Week 10, sources told Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Darnold wore a walking boot on his right foot and was seen in street clothes during Wednesday's practice.
He played all of Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Miami Dolphins, throwing four interceptions. Backup quarterback Josh McCown will likely start in Darnold's absence.
The 21-year-old Darnold has thrown a league-high 14 interceptions through nine games of his rookie season.
