Report: Bengals' Green could be out until December
Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green may be on the sideline longer than originally anticipated.
While reports claimed Green was expected to miss at least two games with a toe injury, a December return appears more likely, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
If the wideout does not re-enter the lineup until December, he'll miss at least the Bengals' next three games - against the New Orleans Saints, Baltimore Ravens, and Cleveland Browns.
Any extended absence from Green would be a massive hit to Cincinnati's offense, though Tyler Boyd and John Ross could see an increase in targets as the next two receivers on the team's depth chart.
The seven-time Pro Bowler has accumulated 45 receptions, 687 yards, and six touchdowns in eight games this season.
