Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter confirmed Ryan Fitzpatrick will start at quarterback for Sunday's game against the New York Giants, according to Buccaneers.com's Scott Smith.
Fitzpatrick struggled during Sunday's 16-3 loss to the Washington Redskins, going 29-of-41 for 406 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Jameis Winston will remain on the bench for the third consecutive game. Winston hasn't started since he was replaced by Fitzpatrick mid-game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 28 after throwing four interceptions.
Fitzpatrick has completed 67.1 percent of his passes for 17 touchdowns against nine interceptions in seven games this season.
