Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley got his ankle rolled up on during Monday's win against the Kansas City Chiefs but will be fine going forward, head coach Sean McVay said, according to Greg Beacham of The Associated Press.
Gurley was held without a touchdown for the first time this season, rushing for 55 yards on 12 carries and adding three receptions for 39 yards.
The Rams are on their bye this week, giving Gurley plenty of time to rest and recover before resuming the season against the Detroit Lions on Dec. 2.
Gurley is the NFL's leading rusher with 1,043 yards and 13 touchdowns. He's also caught 43 passes for 441 yards and four touchdowns, serving as the focal point of the NFL's third-highest scoring offense.
