Tom Brady will play vs. Jets despite missing practice

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will play Sunday against the New York Jets, the team announced.

Brady missed Friday's practice due to an illness and was limited in the two other sessions because of a knee injury. It was his first missed practice of the season, and the Patriots listed him as questionable for the AFC East clash.

He will be looking to bounce back after one of the worst performances of the year. The 41-year-old posted a 70.6 passer rating in the Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans, completing 21 of 41 attempts with no touchdowns.
