Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton will undergo further testing after suffering a thumb injury on his throwing hand early in the third quarter versus the Cleveland Browns.
Dalton went to the locker room after suffering the injury and was later ruled out for the remainder of the game.
X-rays taken after the contest came back negative, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The quarterback was replaced by third-year pivot Jeff Driskel, who entered the game with Cincinnati trailing 35-7 on its home turf.
Dalton entered Week 12 with 2,466 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions across 10 appearances this season.
