Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley will be drawing attention to childhood literacy as part of the NFL's annual "My Cause My Cleats" initiative.
Gurley will wear custom Nike cleats inspired by the children's book "The Magician's Hat," written by former New England Patriots wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell, during the Rams' Week 15 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Gurley has also partnered with Pizza Hut, which will be donating $1 from every purchase of its First Book Bundle to First Book, a nonprofit organization that provides books and other resources to educators serving children in need.
