Report: Giants have not decided Manning's future

The New York Giants have just six wins in their last 27 games, but they still aren't ready to commit to a change behind center.

New York has yet to make a decision about quarterback Eli Manning's status after the 2018 season, a source told Ralph Vacchiano of SNY. The Giants are reportedly considering Manning to be their best possible option for the 2019 campaign, according to the source.

Manning carries a $22.2-million cap hit next year and is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2019-20 season.

The Giants selected quarterback Kyle Lauletta in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft but he's yet to take a snap this season.

Manning has completed a career-best 69.1 percent of his passes for 3,093 yards, 14 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 11 games. Despite his efficient season, the Giants rank 22nd in scoring offense, averaging 21.5 points per game.
