Flacco practices, but Jackson reportedly expected to start vs. Falcons
Baltimore Ravens veteran quarterback Joe Flacco returned to practice Thursday, but rookie Lamar Jackson is expected to make his third straight start on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
Flacco missed the Ravens' past two games due to a hip injury. He still appeared limited during throwing drills at practice, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
In Flacco's absence, Jackson led the Ravens to consecutive wins over the Cincinnati Bengals and Oakland Raiders. Overall this season, the 32nd overall pick of April's draft has completed 60.7 percent of his passing attempts for 415 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. He's added two touchdowns and 329 yards on 65 rushing attempts.
The Ravens sit second in the AFC North with a 6-5 record.
