Report: Jets' Darnold to start Week 14
New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold will make his return to the starting lineup in Week 14 against the Buffalo Bills after missing the last three games with a foot injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The prized rookie has practiced in full all week, taking his reps with the first-team offense.
Darnold practiced for the first time last week since suffering the injury, albeit on a limited basis.
The No. 3 overall pick in April's draft leads the league with 14 interceptions despite the missed time. He's completed just 55 percent of his pass attempts for 1,934 yards and 11 touchdowns.
New York lost all three games that veteran Josh McCown started in Darnold's place, extending the team's losing streak to six.
Sunday's matchup features an intriguing battle between two top-10 rookie quarterbacks, as the Bills will start No. 7 overall pick Josh Allen.
