The Miami Dolphins are looking to profit from their wild Week 14 victory over the New England Patriots.
The Dolphins filed a trademark application for the phrase "MIAMIRACLE" on Dec. 14, as discovered by Josh Gerben of Gerben Law Firm. The team plans to use the phrase on an abundance of merchandise, including paper goods, sports apparel, jewelry, toys, and household items.
"MIAMIRACLE" is a play on what became known as the "Miami Miracle," which saw running back Kenyan Drake take a lateral to the end zone as time expired to secure the team's 34-33 win.
