If the New York Jets fire Todd Bowles at the end of the season as expected, he might not be out of work for long.
Despite a 24-38 record and no playoff berths across four seasons, Bowles will be considered for other head coaching vacancies around the league, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.
Garafolo added Bowles has links to several teams with openings, including the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns.
Bowles was lauded as a defensive dynamo when he came to the Jets from the Arizona Cardinals but he's failed to replicate his desert success in New York.
The Jets rank 24th in points allowed per game and 22nd in yards allowed per game this season. The unit finished 28th and 22nd, respectively, in those categories in 2017.
