Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota was taken to the locker room just before halftime of Saturday's game against the Washington Redskins. He was diagnosed with a stinger and didn't return.
Blaine Gabbert took over under center with less than a minute remaining in the second quarter and the team trailing 10-9, leading Tennessee to a come-from-behind 25-16 victory.
Gabbert had seen time in six previous games this season for the oft-injured Mariota, starting two contests - in Weeks 2 and 3 - and leading the Titans to victories on both occasions.
