The Arizona Cardinals claimed safety D.J. Swearinger off waivers Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed.
Swearinger was released by the Washington Redskins on Monday after he criticized defensive coordinator Greg Manusky.
The 27-year-old defender, who played for the Cardinals in 2015 and '16, also announced the news on Instagram:
Swearinger has four interceptions this season and 11 over the past three.
