Veteran wideout DeSean Jackson has expressed an interest in leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, sources told ESPN's Josina Anderson.
The 11-year veteran reportedly asked to be moved at the trade deadline as his role in the offense continues to fluctuate.
Jackson leads the league in yards per reception, however, the majority of his usage has come with Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing him the football. His production has tailed off substantially with Jameis Winston under center.
The 32-year-old signed a three-year, $33.5-million deal with Tampa Bay in 2017. He has one year remaining with the team, but the Buccaneers would save $10 million in cap space by cutting ties this offseason.
