Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy made some pointed remarks about kicker Cody Parkey during a press conference on Monday.
The Philadelphia Eagles eliminated the Bears from the playoffs in the wild-card round when Parkey's game-winning field-goal attempt was tipped and hit off the upright and crossbar.
Parkey talked about the play during an appearance on "The Today Show" on Friday morning, drawing the ire of Nagy:
Bears general manager Ryan Pace said on Monday that he's looking to improve the team's kicking options going into next season.
"We know that position is an emphasis for us," Pace said. "We understand we need to get better there. We need more production out of that position."
