5 stadium foods you'll want at your Super Bowl party
Hosting a Super Bowl party and don't know what to make for your guests? We've got you covered!
With the New England Patriots looking for their sixth Lombardi Trophy this Sunday in Atlanta against the Los Angeles Rams, fans around the world will be looking to cook up some special eats for the big game.
Here are five signature stadium foods you can, and should, prepare at home for your Super Bowl party:
The Smash
Stadium: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
Even if it's cold outside where you live, that's no excuse to not take out the barbecue.
This burger, via the home of the NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys, comes with all the fixings, including an Angus patty and chopped sirloin steak. The jalapeno queso and brioche bun are sure to give it an incredible texture. Meat lovers rejoice!
DMV Nachos
Stadium: FedExField, Landover, Md.
Next up, a combination of American BBQ and Mexican fiesta courtesy of the Washington Redskins. These nachos are loaded with a smokey sauce, fresh chili, chipotle cheese, crispy onions, and chopped cherry peppers.
It can be served as an appetizer for a group or individually with your choice of added condiments.
Dungeness Crab Pretzel
Stadium: Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, Calif.
We can't confirm this, but San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo definitely had one of these (or five) while on injured reserve this season.
This loaded sandwich features delicious crab meat mixed with garlic aioli, dijon mustard, and chives on a buttered, toasted pretzel baguette. Try not to drool.
Brat in a Blanket
Stadium: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wis.
Can a stadium meal be any more Wisconsin? This hearty delight has everything covered.
Lambeau Field's feature dog isn't just wrapped in any regular cheese - it's wrapped in Wisconsin cheese curds. Topped with beer mustard and placed in a pretzel bun, you'll be booking a trip to Green Bay this year if you don't make this one at home.
Pizza Box Nachos
Stadium: University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Ariz.
Can't decide between pizza and nachos? Then look no further than this treat from the Arizona Cardinals' home stadium.
Served in a pizza box, this eye candy is served with chicken and steak that have been slow roasted overnight in a local chili blend and added to the usual fixings of guacamole, olives, jalapenos, sour cream, and pico de gallo.
These look so filling, it may be difficult to actually serve other food at your Super Bowl party. But any one of these dishes would make it one to remember.
