Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck was honored Saturday with the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year award.
Luck, who was sidelined for the entire 2017 season because of a shoulder injury, won the award in a landslide vote over Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt. The latter played just eight games over the previous two years due to injuries but rebounded with a 16-sack campaign in 16 games this season.

The 29-year-old threw for a career-high 4,593 passing yards to go with 39 touchdowns and 15 interceptions in 2018, guiding the Colts to the playoffs while thwarting preseason concerns over the strength of his arm.
