Report: Kyler Murray bulked up to 206 lbs
Kyler Murray can't do anything about his height, but it appears he's working hard on erasing fears about his ability to withstand hits from NFL defenders.
The former Oklahoma standout is up to 206 lbs ahead of this week's combine, Peter King of NBC Sports reports. He played at 190 lbs during the college season.
The 5-foot-10 quarterback is viewed as "slight" compared to other shorter quarterbacks like Russell Wilson, said King, who added that teams were keen to see if Murray's frame is able to carry extra bulk.
Murray is arguably the biggest question mark in this year's draft.
The Heisman Trophy winner gave up a baseball career to pursue football, but he's fighting an uphill battle as no quarterback under six feet has ever been taken in the first round of the NFL draft.
