Former ball-hawking cornerback Charles Tillman has become an FBI agent, the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reports, citing a source.
Tillman recorded 38 interceptions and forced 44 fumbles during a 13-year career, the majority of which was spent with the Chicago Bears. He retired in 2016 after one season with the Carolina Panthers.
At the completion of his playing career, Tillman spent time in the FBI's training academy. He has since graduated to a two-year probationary period in which he'll be gradually introduced to that branch of law enforcement.
