D.K. Metcalf could squat 100 lbs at 5 years old, dad says
Even as a five-year-old, D.K. Metcalf was a physical freak.
The wide receiver's father, former NFL guard Terrence Metcalf, spoke about his son's strength in a video for Under Armour, saying he had D.K. hitting the weights at a young age.
"There's this story out there about DeKaylin's strength," Terrence said. "DeKaylin started lifting early. I bought this little concrete weight set. He was pressing 50 pounds and squatting 100 pounds at the age of five years old."
D.K., who's listed at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, generated a lot of buzz earlier this month after a photo showing off his imposing physique made the rounds on Twitter.
He'll be among the wide receivers competing at the NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday.
