The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed defensive end Brandon Graham to a three-year contract extension, the team announced Friday.
Graham was set to be one of the top available free-agent defenders on the market.
The pass-rusher will reportedly receive $40 million on his new deal, averaging $13.33 million per year, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Graham was Philadelphia's first-round pick - No. 13 overall - in the 2010 draft. He struggled early in his career but has emerged as one of the top overall defensive ends in the NFL over the last five seasons.
The 30-year-old accumulated four sacks and 70 total quarterback pressures in 2018 according to Pro Football Focus, which ranked fourth among edge defenders.
