The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly not close to re-signing defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, according to The Athletic's Calvin Watkins.
Lawrence will hit the free agent market March 13 unless the Cowboys can get a deal done with the Pro Bowler or place the franchise tag on him.
The 26-year-old recorded 64 total tackles, 10.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles during the 2018 season.
Lawrence will earn $17.1 million in 2019 if he's franchise tagged.
