The Seattle Seahawks are placing the franchise tag on defensive end Frank Clark, the team announced Monday.
Seattle has not used the franchise tag since 2010 when kicker Olindo Mare was given the designation.
Clark had 41 total tackles, 13 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one interception during the 2018 campaign. He's recorded 32 sacks in the past three seasons.
With the tag, Clark will earn $17.1 million in 2019.
