Veteran safety Eric Weddle will make a free-agent visit with the Los Angeles Rams on the heels of his release from the Baltimore Ravens, sources told NFL Network's Peter Schrager and Ian Rapoport.
The Rams are likely to lose Lamarcus Joyner in free agency, making Weddle a logical target for the reigning NFC champions.
Weddle was cut by the Ravens after his third year with the team. He made the Pro Bowl in all three seasons but was deemed too expensive to bring back for a fourth campaign.
In 16 outings with Baltimore last season, Weddle posted 68 tackles, one sack, and three pass breakups.
