With Michael Bennett reportedly on his way to the New England Patriots, his brother Martellus Bennett is interested in coming out of retirement to join him, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Michael, 33, and Martellus, 31, have always wanted to play together, Schefter adds.
The Patriots appear to be finalizing a deal to acquire Michael from the Philadelphia Eagles. The veteran defensive end notched nine sacks and two forced fumbles in 2018.
Martellus retired prior to the 2018 season after New England released him.
The tight end began the 2017 campaign with the Green Bay Packers before being waived. A day later, he was claimed by the Patriots, the team with which he won Super Bowl LI during the 2016 season.
