The Los Angeles Rams signed free-agent safety Eric Weddle to a two-year contract Friday.
Weddle will receive $10.5 million in base salary with $2 million in incentives, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. $5.25 million of his new deal will be fully guaranteed.
The six-time Pro Bowler was scheduled to visit the Rams on Friday after being released from the Baltimore Ravens.
The Rams are likely to lose Lamarcus Joyner in free agency, meaning Weddle will slide in opposite John Johnson in Wade Phillips' defense.
In 16 outings with Baltimore last season, Weddle posted 68 tackles, one sack, and three pass breakups.
