The Dallas Cowboys agreed to a restructured contract with Sean Lee that will keep the veteran linebacker on the team for his 10th season, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Lee will reportedly receive $3.5 million in base salary in 2019 with the opportunity to earn another $3.5 million in bonuses.
The 32-year-old was thought to be a potential salary cap casualty after losing his starting job to rookie Leighton Vander Esch last season.
Lee, who's spent his entire career in Dallas, had 30 tackles and 0.5 sacks in seven appearances a year ago. Injuries have been problematic for Lee throughout his career, as he's yet to play a full 16-game season.
