The Chicago Bears' innovative offense looks to be adding another weapon.
Chicago intends to sign former New England Patriots receiver and kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson to a two-year deal worth $5 million per season, a source informed ESPN's Adam Schefter.
It would be Patterson's fourth team in as many seasons. After spending his first four campaigns with the Minnesota Vikings, he signed with the Oakland Raiders in 2017 and was traded to the Patriots the following year.
Patterson contributed 247 yards as a receiver, 228 yards as a rusher, and five total touchdowns, including a kick-return score, for the Super Bowl champs in 2018.
