Free agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is visiting the Miami Dolphins' training facility on Wednesday, a source told The Boston Globe's Ben Volin.
The New Orleans Saints were thought to be bringing Bridgewater back on a deal, but reports of an agreement were premature, Volin added.
Miami reportedly made a strong push for Bridgewater before reports surfaced he was re-signing with the Saints.
It was reported last month the Dolphins were hoping to find a replacement for 2018 starter Ryan Tannehill this offseason.
Bridgewater, a former first-round pick, served as Drew Brees' backup in 2018 after the New York Jets traded him and a sixth-round pick to New Orleans for a third-rounder.
