Michael Bennett's trade to the New England Patriots was made official Thursday, and younger brother Martellus Bennett seems eager to help him get acclimated to his new team.
Martellus, who spent the entire 2016 season and part of the 2017 campaign with the Patriots, took to Instagram to congratulate Michael and gave him a rundown of what he can expect from Bill Belichick, Tom Brady, and the rest of the team.
"I know there's a lot of pressure to come in a city after I've left my mark of awesomeness there, but just be yourself and they'll love (you) almost as much as they loved me," Martellus wrote.
In an interview with the Patriots' official website, Michael admitted to hating the team while his brother was playing for them.
"He loved it, but the fact that he loved it made me hate it," Michael said. "Then he won ... I was the brother that was the Super Bowl champ and then he took that from me. He just took it."
