The Philadelphia Eagles and former Minnesota Vikings safety Andrew Sendejo have agreed to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.
Sendejo is coming off an eight-year stint with Minnesota, where he served as an enforcer in the secondary. The Vikings made him a free agent by declining his $5.5-million team option for 2019.
Sendejo appeared in just five contests last season because of injury, posting 27 tackles and one pass breakup.
The 31-year-old made headlines last summer for wearing a "Make Football Violent Again" cap in protest of the NFL rule changes designed to improve player safety.
