The Buffalo Bills have signed numerous offensive linemen this offseason, inking center Mitch Morse, tackle Ty Nsekhe, and guard Jon Feliciano early in free agency. On Friday, they added former Cincinnati Bengals tackle Jake Fisher, but not to join the other three on the O-line.
Instead, Buffalo signed the 6-foot-6, 305-pounder to play tight end on a "prove-it deal," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported after speaking with Fisher's agency.
During his first four seasons in the league, Fisher caught one pass for 31 yards in 2015 and another for 12 yards in 2016.
This offseason, the 25-year-old Fisher has gotten down from his listed weight of 305 pounds to 285 pounds, according to Buffalo News.
