Raiders won't discuss Lynch's potential return until after draft
The Oakland Raiders aren't ruling out re-signing Marshawn Lynch, but a reunion with the veteran running back isn't in their immediate plans.
"I think both parties are going to wait for the draft and go from there," general manager Mike Mayock said on Monday, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic.
Lynch, 32, has been a free agent for two weeks. It's unclear if the Oakland native is willing to entertain offers from other teams.
Lynch came out of retirement in 2017 to suit up for his hometown club ahead of the franchise's relocation to Las Vegas. With the Raiders returning to the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in 2019 for one more season, Lynch could be interested in coming back for another campaign.
The five-time Pro Bowler rushed for 376 yards and three touchdowns in six contests last year before suffering a groin injury that cut his season short.
