The Oakland Raiders signed free-agent running back Isaiah Crowell, the team announced Thursday.

The 26-year-old inked a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Raiders also boosted their linebacking group by reaching an agreement with former Denver Broncos standout Brandon Marshall on a one-year, $4.1-million deal, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The veteran confirmed he's headed to Oakland in an Instagram post.

Crowell is the latest offensive addition to the Raiders, who are set to field almost an entirely new-look unit in 2019.

If Marshawn Lynch opts not to return, the veteran back likely has the inside track for the starting job.

Crowell has produced at least 600 rushing yards in each of his first five seasons in the league, and almost cracked 1,000 yards in 2016 while with the Cleveland Browns. He spent last season with the New York Jets and tied his career high for yards per carry (4.8) while scoring six touchdowns in 13 appearances.

Meanwhile, Marshall led the Broncos' defense for the last six seasons, recording over 100 tackles in three years and winning the Super Bowl in 2015 as a crucial part of Denver's lauded championship unit.
