It appears one of the NFL's all-time greats is trying his luck at the art of comedy.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady created a Twitter account on April Fools' Day and used his first tweet to "announce" that he's retiring from the NFL.
The 41-year-old had never tweeted prior to Monday.
Brady, who is coming off his sixth Super Bowl championship, will enter his 20th season with the Patriots in 2019.
