The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed former Houston Texans running back Alfred Blue, the team announced Monday.
Blue will join the team on a one-year deal, sources told ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio.
Entering his sixth NFL season, Blue had spent the entirety of his career with Houston after the Texans selected him in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
The Jaguars released Carlos Hyde earlier this offseason and T.J. Yeldon is still a free agent, making Blue the main option behind Leonard Fournette.
Blue accumulated 499 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 150 carries during the 2018 season.
